MEAL IS Success Assessment

M&E/MEAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS (IS) SeLF-ASSESSMENT FORM

This tool has been developed to undertake a study on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Information Systems (IS), sometimes referred to as Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Information Systems (IS) used by Humanitarian Organizations in Uganda.

The main objective of this study is to develop and validate a comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Information Systems (MEALIS) success assessment model based on the updated DeLone and McLean IS success model.

The findings of this study will first, help the M&E/MEAL Practitioners to measure the success of their M&E/MEAL IS. It will further help practitioners, service providers, consultants and managers by providing them with key areas to take into consideration when designing and delivering M&E/MEAL IS. Academics and Policy Makers will benefit from the framework by providing them with further knowledge/research area and guidance on decision making for Information System investment, among others.
